At first I was reluctant to visit due to the £25 deposit, but with the massive range of dresses and the colours that could be ordered in I booked. The staff were amazing, my bridesmaid tried on so many dresses, we were offered drinks and biscuits, all the dresses were amazing! Highly recommend, very professional and very helpful! Didn't try to sell the most expensive dresses and even showed us sale ones!

Absolutely the loveliest team of ladies, they made the bride very much feel at ease and helped so much… a huge choice of dresses with a good price tag!Claire was a diamond!! Thoroughly recommend these ladies for prom/ wedding. Five stars!!! x

Hilary B was the first (and only!) Bridal shop I went to. I went with my mum and mother-in-law and from the moment we walked in Claire and her team were so welcoming, kind and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they made the whole experience so special and memorable, I will never forget it. I found my wedding dress on that appointment and felt so amazing on my big day wearing my dress and it was all thanks to their help and wonderful service.

Hands down THE best bridal shop in Colchester! From the first contact with Hilary B right up until trying on their stunning array of dresses was an absolute pleasure.I first came to Hilary B with a friend for her dress fitting and I knew when my time came I would be coming back and i'm so glad I did.Such a warm welcome on arrival I instantly felt at ease. I spent a total of 2.5 hours here with Claire and I never felt rushed once. She offered her genuine opinion on each dress and didn't just say they all looked lovely which was extremely helpful! I felt like she genuinely cared that I find the perfect dress for me. The selection of dresses to pick from were simply beautiful, their knowledge and customer service is second to none and I would, without a doubt, recommend them to everyone I know. Wow what can I say I had the best experience at hilary b's . We all felt so welcome and our assistant clare was just fantastic she was so caring and made me on top of the world when choosing my dress which I did find the one . This was the first (and only!) bridal shop I went to. I had an amazing time trying on dresses with my mum, mother-in-law and sister-in-law and the team at Hilary B were all so lovely. They really listened to what I said and made my wedding dress shopping experience an absolute dream. They had a huge range of options and helped me to find “the one” which I can’t wait to finally arrive back in store now! Cannot recommend enough!!

I am so happy and pleased with my whole experience at Hillary B. It was my first shop I went into to try on wedding dresses I went to a couple others but was drawn to go back there. The dresses are abseloutly stunning and they have a piece for every body type. I feel the prices were very reasonable compared to other shops. The main thing I loved about this shop was all the staffs great customer service. I shared my experience with Claire and Hillary and they make you feel so welcome. Claire was so lovely giving lovely compliments and was so very helpful when it came to picking out dresses. I will never forget these ladies they made my whole experience so memorable and I enjoyed spending time with them In preparation for such a big event in my life. Thank you ladies see you soon x
