We were guest at the Air BNB above the restaurant (Yes you can stay in the windmill !) and went down to The Mill for dinner . Great atmosphere, the food and service were great . Great cocktail menu . Prices were great . We would 100% come back on our next stay !

You know my favorite type of restaurant is one where you show up to it at 8:56pm (they close at 10) and they make a big show of checking to see if the kitchen will serve you. Only to return and share with you they can only serve you beverages…. If this is standard practice perhaps make this known on your website/social media pages or close at 9 when clearly your workers would like to be done by that time. As someone visiting from out of town and excited to eat at a local eatery, this was incredibly disappointing. Perhaps the name of this establishment is fitting as its run of the mill at best.

The best meal this far in Lynden. Excellently prepared food with a special care for dressings and sauces. It's apparent that every aspect of the meal was meticulously planned and executed. The music was also great. I went so far as to download their playlist.

Understaffed! Need another front of house person. But was possibly just an illness. Sandwiches were a decent size and flavorful! Fries included were pathetic though. When something comes with fries, you don’t expect to get 10 pieces. Especially when you pay 2.50 extra to sub it sweet potato fries. Overall possibly a bad day for service but think the fry portions are a regular thing.

Pleasantly surprised! Decided to try The Mill for my daughter's birthday after looking at the menu. We always thought it was a wine bar with snacks. I have three teenagers so never thought to try it. It was a Monday night and the place was very quiet. Our waitress was friendly and offered to seat us outside. We sat on their cute back patio and had it to ourselves. They also have a front patio but it was next to the road.The waitress promptly brought us water and answered all our questions.First up was the charcuterie board. It was a nice selection and perfect for the four of us to snack on. Two of us ordered paninis, the Turkey Pesto, and the Orchard Valley. Both were very tasty, but the Orchard Valley was the best with the combination of brie and pear. The other two ordered flatbread pizza. Lots of veggies on the Tuin Garden" pizza with pesto

Service was great and the waiter was knowledgeable! Pricing was not expensive and has a very nice cozy ambiance. Food was good. My wife really loved her French dip. My burger was good but had it been excellent, would have earned the 5th star!

Great food and service plus friendly customers as we walked in. Tried this place for the first time and wasn't disappointed. From the apps to the main course, we loved it all. Will definitely be back.
