Katie Brennan Ceremonies

Katie is amazing! She officiated our wedding in July 2022 on Salt Spring Island and she was absolutely perfect for our day. Katie was incredible the entire way through the process - from initial meeting, helping us with the draft, bringing her own creative ideas and suggestions and marrying them (lol) with our own to create a unique and perfect ceremony for us. We had so many compliments from friends and family about how amazing she was. She's funny, kind, empathetic and warm and we could not recommend her highly enough if you are looking for a celebrant for your wedding day.

Katie worked so closely and wonderfully with us and created the most absolute perfect ceremony - we can not recommend her enough! Several folks mentioned it was one of the most beautiful ceremonies they’ve ever experienced, and though I’m definitely biased, I have to agree! Haha :) she wrote such a beautiful ceremony we decided we actually didn’t need add our own vows as she absolutely nailed it on the first try. Catherine and I wanted a simple, relaxed and entirely intimate ceremony, and that is exactly what Katie helped us plan and enjoy. Her guidance as officiant encouraged us to share freely and comfortably exactly how we wanted. We had Katie officiate our wedding and it was a very easy and comfortable experience. She only added to our intimate atmosphere and knew how important it was to us. She crafted a wonderful retelling of how my husband and I fell in love.

Katie was a dream to work with. We consulted virtually due to being out of province, and when we finally met her in person for our wedding ceremony it felt so comfortable and natural. The whole process was fun and easy, but I have to say my absolute favourite part about working with Katie is how in control and calm she was on the day of - her presence totally eased all the stress and anxiety I was feeling and I knew that everything was going to go smoothly. We had the true pleasure of hiring Katie to be our celebrant on our special day. Getting to know her prior to the day felt like we were connecting with a friend. Her warm and lovely nature made us feel so relaxed and also eager and excited to elope! On the day itself she guided us through the ceremony with ease, passion and presence. Katie is an absolute GEM! An incredibly kind and bubbly soul that would make a great addition to your already beautiful day!For our ceremony we wanted to keep things very small and intimate. We had booked with another officiant prior to Katie, and unfortunately they made us feel like because we were keeping it small, we should get the bare minimum service. Fast forward, we canceled and emailed Katie. She responded almost immediately and with such energy that made us feel excited again to actually plan a small ceremony. Katie was very encouraging and organized in her way of helping us co-create what our ceremony would look like. She made sure to include our input and stories to make it that much more personal and intimate. Through the entire process, Katie made us feel loved and supported  - like she really was our biggest fan or a long time friend. Katie brings the kind of energy you want for your big day, no matter how big or small you're keeping it!
