Johnson's Mills Shorebird Interpretive Centre
This place is absolutely stunning! Definitely off the beaten path, but is a wonderful spot to walk around, walk on the beach and watch the tide come in. The staff were very knowledgeable about the birds. You do have to come at the right time of year and day though. Even if you don't get to see any birds, this place is scenic beauty that only the bay of Fundy can provide. There are several picnic tables setup, so it's also a great place to eat a lunch (if you packed one that is). This place is a hidden gem of New Brunswick.Admission is by donation. Parking is free and there is plenty of it and there is a washroom located by the parking area.

Great spot to see semipalmated sandpipers. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. I go every year. You need to check the tides and go near high tide otherwise the birds are too far to appreciate.

Very lucky that we have seen about 120.000 sand pipers that day ! It's a very cool and unique experience. Take your camera and some time with you. Free parking and very close to the lookout

Considering there's no admission to go in here it's pretty good. Some good basic information about shorebirds on the panels inside the centre, and then the interpreters out on the deck were great. Fills up quickly though so it can be difficult to actually get a good look at the birds.

It is too early to watch the shorebirds though normally they might have been here in early July. My GPS has lead me a very hard road to get here. Please pay attention that there is a better road.

Very informative, and was able to catch the birds at rest and during feeding, over 5,000 sandpipers, plovers, and more!
