The SECURITY GUARD at the drive-through needs a life. Maybe cheer up a bit. You're not high and mighty.

I wish I could give a better review. The staff working directly with seniors are quite good. The organization is terrible. They are always short staffed. As a result seniors in diapers often must wait hours to be changed. The food listed on the menu is often not what is served. I have watched as seniors told care givers that the food on their plate is not what was on the menu and they don't want it. The response was literally to say this is what you have and they mixed the vegetables into the noodle stuff and started shovelling it into the seniors mouth. Also, they do not automatically send out the notice listing the tax deductable disability care amount like the other care facilities do. You must request the information. If you are a senior you may not be aware you have this deduction. It makes a big difference on taxes. Extremely poor management.

My mom spent less then a month here before she passed. The nurses and staff in 9Y were absolutely amazing. Our family loved how they spoke to mom, like she was a human, not just a patient In their care. They treated not only mom great but everyone who visited her as well. Everyone had positive Interactions with the staff. After having horrible expirences at the U of A, this place was a breath of fresh air and we are happy mom was well taken care of right to the end. Would highly recommend the General for thoes looking for a safe place for a loved one.

This review is for the sti clinic that is attached to the hospital.I would give that place zero star if I can because of this one person only. The rest of the staff like the nurses working there are so nice. They should fire that F@T COW sitting at the front. She’s very rude and very disrespectful to people dealing with health problems. As a front desk, she should be kind and nice to people to ease their anxiety. Imagine dealing with health issues then that F@T COW just makes anxiety worst! She made us wait 5 days before calling us for our results which we already have in our netcare myalbertaid.Stay away from this clinic if you don’t wanna deal with someone like her. On the other hand, go to DX MediCentre on 51st Calgary tr. They're pretty fast and have nice staff.

If I could give this place minus stars I would , not saying the entire facility is lacking but definitely the unit my mom is on. What poor excuses these staff have, not to mention the disrespect and disregard they have for thier residents. DISGUSTING AND SHAMEFULL

The nurse was extremely understanding and non judgmental. Made sure to keep me comfortable and told me we could stop if any of the tests made me uncomfortable. Did lots of mirroring behaviors and gave back the energy I was giving out while being supportive. Great place.

Did a TB skin test .The girl who took my blood did it wrong. Now I have bruising on my arm .She lost my vein while inserting the needle.Instead of removing it & doing it properly she turned the needle while it was still under my skin toward the vein.I Regret going there !

This province in general has trash booking for certain types of medical attention. The same day booking idea leaves many waiting for a while to be treated. Seriously prefer Ontario over this. I feel they only have one person to answer the phone and probably only three spots a day it feels. Why can’t u book ahead and if u miss your time you’re off the list…?!?

My mom had a massive stroke in 2016 & lost her mind, 3 weeks in the horror known as the Royal Alex.Then we got her a room at the General for over $2,000.00 per month where she resided uncomfortably for 2 years, until she fell & broke her hip. We all know what that means to a senior & it did. Over $2,000.00!!!, horrible food, bad care & I heard that my poor old mom laid on the floor in agony before anyone called an ambulance...

I did a sleep disorder over night clinic. Friendly staff. The hole process was unknown as I never received a package. Lots of hook ups and a mess of glue in my hair the next morning. Bed was comfortable and pillows to my surprise ☺️
