I am in my 50's and have never been without a pet my entire life. I have had joy and love with all of them, and have experience with many veterinarian clinics as well. This clinic is the best I've had! Dr. Erin and Dr. Sandie are compassionate and empathetic. They're experts in their field. Today, we had to put down our 18 year old cat, and Dr. Erin made the experience better than any other Doctor has in my past. I will always recommend this clinic. The support staff are absolutely fantastic and you will always feel welcome, and more importantly, you will feel like you're the most important client they have. My heart breaks at the loss of my fur-baby, but Dr. Erin did everything she could to make this experience as painless as possible.

We did not expect to be writing this review, nor did we expect to leave our appointment, so upset today. Absolutely appauled with the staff and vet at this location.How dare you tell us our training is wrongful and is a welfare check" because of your personal view and opinions. Not a professional one.We will NEVER come back! This clinic has zero integrity and is disrespectful to their client's. Animals

I can’t recommend this animal hospital enough! Especially Dr. Valerie!! She’s very kind and compassionate with everyone, especially animals. She went through many details and questions we didn’t think about and that was very helpful. She also gave her recommendations and explained why, gave us options as well. She even went the extra mile to explain things to my 5 year old girl and involved her in the check up. What an experience and what a role model to look up to! :)Staff are very friendly and you can tell there’s a synergy amongst them. That made it feel a comfortable place to visit. They greet you with a smile and give you the time you need and there isn’t a rush in the whole process.Covid-19 measures are in place to keep animals and humans safe. The clinic is clean, welcoming and nicely decorated.

Wonderful, caring team of people! All of the staff are always friendly and helpful - Dr. Sandie and Dr. Erin are the most kind and compassionate veterinarians who give you their time and attention while providing the best care/treatment fit for you and your animal. I never feel rushed and always feel that my pets are being cared for in the best possible way!

The best vet in town! I brought my little kitten here for some tummy issues (they are all resolved now) and it was so easy through and through getting all my questions answered from Dr. Erin and ensured my little guy was ok. The front desk staff is always so welcoming, so very polite, and such a joy to be around! I love coming here and will continue to come here :)

They were excellent with our kitten. Gave us well detailed instructions on how to care for her at home. Priced well for everything we got done. Will definitely use them again for all our animal needs.

Bruno and I had an amazing experience with Dr. Langwith today, she was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and made sure all of my concerns were acknowledged and talked about. She took her time and wasn't rushing, made sure everything was covered and assured me that my dog is in great hands. They are also VERY reasonably priced!The front desk staff were amazing as well. All in all we are very happy with our visit! HIGHLY recommend!!

Harbour City Vet has the most compassionate, amazing, knowledgeable and kind staff you will ever meet. When my Mochi broke his leg, Dr. Sandie and the staff went above and beyond to take care of him and treat him like their own. It’s been a journey and the staff were there all the way and were so understanding. I’ll never be able to express how grateful I am. Thank you to all the staff there for everything you’ve done! Mochi is recovering and living his best life with his big sister!

Very friendly staff, super helpful and informative.They treated my dog Lucy very well with her spay surgery.Worth my drive from Lake Cowichan.Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough about Habour City Animal Hospital! The front desk ladies are always warm and kind! We saw Dr. Sandie who exhibits compassion, knowledge, and gives one wise counsel. The front desk staff and technicians thoroughly explain any medication needed. Skippie and I are so grateful to have such a trusted Animal Hospital in Nanaimo! Thank you!
