Lily was a kickass bartender who showed our company party a fantastic time and poured some amazing drinks whose quality only can only be compared with her excellent service. We had a fantastic time and we're lucky to have stopped by. What a great time! She definitely deserves a raise.Would absolutely consider this place for future outings.

Since Bettys on King E closed this is now the default dive-y bar for the King East/St Lawrence /St James area. Honestly, there are NOT enough drinking establishments around here for the burgeoning population but at least we have AAA Bar. No food, just alcohol (why pictures of bbq though? Whyyyyy?)Sarcastic but friendly wait staff will procure you as much booze as you can handle, and then some, all at reasonable-for-downtown pricing. Room can get a bit drafty in mid winter, so pick a spot well away from the door. Dogs welcome, which is kinda cool. If you like dogs

Cool dive bar, with more expensive prices. No food served here!! Watch the servers carefully, the started bringing smaller sized beers and charging us the same as the larger ones.

First time here and like the atmosphere! The server was super friendly and helpful. The price of the beer was decent. When I was there I felt very comfortable and relaxed. It’s a super good spot to hangout with friends!

Lily was the sweetest bartender I've ever met! She is so absolutely amazing at what she does. I just moved so Toronto Md this is the first bar I'd ever been to and she made me feel so warm and welcomed here I 100% recommend this place if you want to meet maxing authentic people :))

Dropped by AAA which gives you an absolute college vibe. The staff were extremely friendly and great with the service. While I would have preferred a bit more lighting I guess that's the look of the space.

There really aren’t many bars in Toronto like AAA. What looks a little divey from the outside is an awesome bar on the inside. Some of the best bartenders (who’ll crack jokes with you, share a beer and tell you some good stories and great drink specials (ask for the happy meal). This is a place to just go, enjoy a beer and not feel like you’ve gotta impress anyone. They also have tvs now so you can enjoy the game or the day or a movie (saw them playing casino once lol).

I arrived late from the UK and needed a drink. I just walked into the first bar near my hotel and it the AAA bar. They were playing some really excellent music, so I stayed for a few more. Got chatting to a couple of locals who were amazingly friendly. Lily, the bar woman, was amazing. This is an excellent bar. I went back a couple more times. The third time I went in Lily was working, she remembered me and gave me and a colleague I took there a free shot just to say hi. The next time I am in Toronto, have a guess where I am heading for. Really great bar, really friendly people, really amazing music.

Great local watering hole if you're in it for reasonably priced drinks and attentive service; super casual and laid back. The bartenders are chatty if you want them to be, and also seem happy to leave you to your own devices.I'll admit that I really miss the kitchen - AAA used to serve the best nachos in the city and going there isn't quite the same without a giant plate. Without the kitchen, they allow dogs in which can be a positive or negative depending on your view.
