A-1 Concrete Leveling & Foundation Repair Southeast Michigan
We have a home built on a slab in 1959. There is a crack through the middle of the house which became very noticeable this winter. We called A-1 and Ethan came out to evaluate it. Expecting the worst, he told us it was nothing to be concerned about as it would not effect the integrity of the foundation or structure. He advised a floating floor as we were planning already. I appreciate that he didn't try to take advantage of a situation to make a buck! (Actually many!) We thank him for his honesty and speaks volumes to this company's reputation!!!

A1 Concrete and Leveling not only came out and did a quick quote but got back to us when they said they would to schedule the appointment to re level our sidewalk during the pandemic. Got an estimate 2 years ago from Brett Butler,nice caring human being, Ran into some financial difficulties back then . Couldn't get it done so I put it off until I could afford it. Now a gentleman named Ethan was supposed to call me to set up an appointment never did, so I called him. I think I called him 3 times so he called me back was supposed to come out and do an estimate and never showed up. Not professional at all.

I have never had such a great experience with any sort of contractor. The responded to my inquiry within 24 hours. Brett came out the next business day. He looked at all the levels of our house and both inside and out. He answered all of our questions and even gave suggestions for what we could do ourselves. He explained what to look for with older homes and when to be concerned. It turns out we don't need any foundation work right now. He even provided a referral for a contractor to double check our beams that have settled over time- our house is nearly 100 years old.

2 large driveway slabs, and our whole front walkway had sunk several inches because of a downspout that had been washing everything out for years.A-1 was very detailed in the quote they gave me, indicating all the points where they would be drilling and lifting.The results were better than I expected, and they cleaned up the area nicely when they were done. Couldn't have asked for better service!

A-1 did concrete leveling for us. They did an amazing job. We were hoping they could make some improvement in the driveway but didn't expect that they would be able to level it as well as they did. The guys kept working at it until everything matched. They were professional and thorough. Cleaned everything up after they were done. Gave us a 4 year guarantee that it would stay level or they would come back and redo any area. After they leveled it we caulked all the cracks. We couldn't be more pleased.

Unfortunately my driveway needs a full replacement but A-1 was super fast to come out and evaluate it, and then they provided me with a lot of very helpful recommendations and information even though they wouldn't be able to fix my driveway. Very helpful and honest!
