I went for dinner at my shanti and the vibe of place is good. The appetizer we ordered were panner pakora and pani poori, they paneer pakora was really below average but the pani poori was great. For mains we had amritsari cholle bhature which were avarage as well but butter chicken was super delicious. The desserts were great too.It was good experience overall.

Update July 2023:Went again after couple of years and was pleasantly surprised. Food was amazing, we had Chana bhatura, lachha paratha and tawa sabzi they all were good. Dessert sampler was delicious and drinks like shaam mastani are worth another shot. Would definitely recommend and come back. Thank you!!—-EarlierWill I go there everyone I crave for Indian food: no.Will go there for comfort food: noWill go there for some occasion or meet someone: mmm probably yes.There was something not right.The open kitchen was very noisy in terms of utensils banging etc.Food was okay, it was different as usual and spices were fine. Drinks Were good, chaat: was not that good. It had too much of sev.No thank you!!

We ordered the Gol gappa and fish pakora as appetizers, a chicken curry dish and the tawa sabji for mains, and the carrot cake halwa for dessert. The fish pakora was very well made, and when someone in our party found a hair on the plate it was promptly remade. My personal favorite was the tawa sabji which was very flavorful and delicious. The carrot halwa cake dessert was overpowered by the cream cheese frosting and would not be something I would order again.

This place is a great dinning experience for a date or a family gathering. The food is so amazingly good and the service was the best I've experienced yet out. Thank you for such amazing experience My Shanti by Vikram Vij. Looking forward to many more gatherings here.

Happened to be in the area and realized how close we were to My Shanti and def had to give it a try! We were not disappointed! Inside, beautiful! We ordered Vikram’s favorite snack which was toasted cashews and portobello mushrooms (added paneer) on like a naan pizza- delicious! Then we had the jackfruit curry and butter chicken with garlic naan, both very tasty! Finished off the evening with the Dessert Sampler. Glad we got this so we could try a bit of the rice pudding, gulab jamun & pistachio ice cream. Yum! Service was top notch from everyone including Vikram! He happened to be in and was working the room, talking to all the customers and even clearing tables! Unforgettable experience! Many other things on the menu we would like to try! We’ll be back!

Our bill was around $100. but we ended up paying $130. Imagine $30 above. Huh...They charged compulsory tips of their waitresses from us above Gst and Pst which we go to so many restaurants are not taken. Too much noisy place. Overall bad experience. Feel cheated in the end.-0/100. Some authorities should check them please.

One of the best restaurant of Greater Vancouver BC at White Rock. Range of delicacies is entirely innovative different than routine restaurants. Ambience is good. The Cocktails are must try. I tried Dawa Daru which included Indian Old Monk n jaggery. Must book a table in advance to avoid wait
