The ladies of Luminous always make you feel right at home! There's something about the cozy, intimate setting you can't replicate in a big salon.I've been a client for various services since the shop opened and I plan to continue for a long time! Cheers!

What can I say... these ladies do it all and they do it SO WELL! It's so nice to have a beauty bar that suits all of my needs with an extra flare. All of the ladies have amazing skills; customer service is ALWAYS friendly and accommodating.Tara's hair care is by far the best ~ finally a stylist that listens to my needs!Ashley's lash game is on point, make-up is so natural and so beautiful, and the waxing queen ~ she'll get you dolled up and ready to slay.Katie's got amazing nail tech skills and has a teeth whitening line that is impeccable ~ great for sensitive teeth!They are a one-stop-shop with the BEST OF THE BEST!

It was a wonderful experience to receive a service from a small business that has been thriving! Their space on Main St is lovely and very welcoming. I absolutely love the work Tara did on my hair. She is not only talented, but she is kind and made the entire experience a pleasurable one. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and I will definitely be going back!

I wouldn't recommend booking appointments at Luminous. I booked an appointment online and received appointment reminders but when I arrived for my appointment mid morning they were locked, no one at the front desk and no one answering the phone. It shows they don't respect their clients time. I left a message at the time of my appointment pointing out that I shouldn't be charged for cancelling" my appointment (as their policy states they do) since they are not open. They didn't charge me but called me back and offered to reschedule without apologizing for wasting my time."

Awesome place and everyone is so friendly

I have been a client at Luminious since they opened in their original location on Front St. From the time I started going there to see Katie for nails, to the present, for multiple services, at their new location on Main St, I feel privileged to have been able to watch them evolve into a group of women entrepreneurs who are not only passionate about their clients, but to witness their work together creating an exceptional client experience. The women who care for clients at Luminious are second to none in the Valley. The sweet relationship that they have with each other and their clients is so refreshing and incredibly genuine. I would encourage anyone who is looking for a selfcare service in the Annapolis Valley, to take a moment to consider the ladies at Luminious. They are just fantastic.

Always excellent service and care from these ladies, I won't go anywhere else now that I've found them :) it's a one stop shop with amazing service, 10/10 recommend
