Hart

A wonderful local store on Arnprior. They are a small version of a large department store where you can find just about anything g for your home or personal needs. The staff are friendly and service you. I enjoy shopping in this store! --Chantale W

I have shopped at Hart's occasionally for a few years now. I have nothing but respect for all the people who work there helping customers and stocking shelves. The employees have always been pleasant and helpful and the store manager is knowledgeable about the product and always willing to assist.

I was only looking for an item but they didn't have it

Friendly staff and clean environment. Purchased some pillow protectors that the store had on sale. Very few people in the store and no line up at the cash to check out which was nice.

Most clothing stores would issue a return if something doesn't fit. I understand their policy and respect it. But if you haven't even worn the item,, they still won't issue a return not even a credit. I like the variety of things they have but they couldn't do anything to help other than give me something else which doesn't help me as I just wanted a bra that would fit. Cashier was polite but brought the manager into the situation when I didn't even ask for the manager. The manager explained to me the same thing that the cashier did. I am not angry about the situation, just upset that they made it seem like a bigger problem than it should have. Don't buy clothing here if you don't 100% know for sure that it will fit. They mentioned that I could have tried it on yet the cashier I purchased the item through did not once mention that to me. Cashiers should be giving the same information to all their customers. Lack of communication.

I don't exactly remember the specific timeline, however the store closed and left the Arnprior mall. When it returned they were unfortunately forced into a space half their previous size. Due to this, though no fault of Hart or their staff, the aisles are narrow and there is a lot of product packed into a small space. Also, there was more selection when it was the bigger store. I have always had a great experience with the staff when needed.

Although I no longer live in the area (now in Saskatchewan) I would always stop in at Hart's when I would visit family in Arnprior. I always loved that small town atmosphere and how the store was clean, cute, great bargains and the staff were always genuinely friendly which you don't see much nowadays. Most places pay min wage, have less staff on the floor to save costs and yet because things need to still be done the minimal staff are so busy multitasking they forget about interacting with the customers and I never had that feeling at Hart. Keep it up Hart family!

Clothing advertised in the July 26th Flyer (Nyguard) were not in the Arnprior store on Sunday and both staff on the cash were rude, especially the older lackey.

Great store that's larger than it looks. Many good finds and great prices and service. Hidden gem.
