I have seen a clinician from this practice for almost a year now. My experience has been life changing for managing my neurodevelopmental condition and overall well being. My functioning is massively improved from where it was when I started. I would 100% recommend starting therapy to anyone with reservations about starting out. Do it for your future self/health!

Here we go. This was my first experience with therapy, so I'm not really sure if I the issues I had were specific to Street Therapy or common across the entire field.I booked through my insurance company, booking went through well. Before the first orientation session they ask you to fill out a detailed in-patient form which I did. Orientation session was a video call, as I guess is standard practice now, which was the first issue as I live in a busy household and I simply didn't have a quiet spot where I could talk about things confidently, out of an earshot of anyone.During the orientation session the RT asked me what my issues and expectations are - I asked if they saw my in patient form and they said they didn't. At the very end of the 15 minute call, after I went through the issues I wanted to talk about, the RT told me that they are actually fully booked and will refer me to a different RT - begs the question why not simply tell me right away and rebook? Unless they were not comfortable working with me and couldn't tell me that. This is when I started seeing little red flags. They said I could contact them if I had any issues - but left me no contact information. Also mentioned their supervising RT but didn't leave their contacts either.Next week I had another orientation scheduled with a different RT who went through all the same stuff as the first, and also didn't look at my in patient form. During our first (and only) session I mentioned that I am experiencing what I think is ****** addiction and described multiple strategies I used in the past to try to control it that didn't work. This is where the really big red flag came up - when talking about homework" the RT told me: "How about you try to not use ****** so much?" ... Jesus Christ. Really? Have you not listened when I said I'm already trying to not use it so much and it's not working and that's why I think I have an actual addiction? Ever tried telling an alcoholic "Oh hey
