They say they'll take pop cans for 33 cents per pound and they tell me they stopped taking them 10 years ago. I drove 45 minutes to get there. Just to hear them tell me they stopped taking them 10 years ago. What a joke

Glad to have a place like this locally to bring metals for recycling. Too much is going to landfill. Not sure if they will take your stuff, give them a call.They pay for scrap metal, yes even small amounts. You will not get rich but it pays for your gas and maybe a coffee or two!!

I called PJ Metals for a pick-up of scrap metal. They answered the phone every time I called (no voicemail!). And, came to my location promptly. Payment was immediate when I followed the driver to the yard. This is a good place to handle local pick-ups.

We had a non-functional Cooktop that we wanted to have recycled. PJ Metals was the place to go. They do pay scrap metal but I was happy enough with it not going to a landfill, so all I had to do is toss it in a pile out back of the shop.

I have been going here for years good pricing compared to some around my area , I might get a little more if I traveled closer to Toronto , but the time and money to get there outweighs any minute extra I might have got , the owner is friendly and easy to deal with, I highly recommend this place

Had 1087 lbs of scrap metal walked out with 19.70 they charged us 15.00 per item that may have contained freon when asked we were told they charge for having the freon disposed of and the items tagged.. the items were already tagged and no longer contained freon.While unloading they collected things that we took off our truck and put them back on ( metal table, some pots and pans) they told us they couldn't accept them because the items contained a small amount of plastic.I'd rather drive to Napanee or take my chances with Crawford Metals in Belleville.
