Alex and Zoey are both amazing. So professional. I have 2 German wirehaired pointers and a Griffon that need hand stripping. During the COVID lockdown, their coats were not maintained. Impossible to find someone that can and will hand strip. Even after 1 grooming session, my dogs look better than ever and they love going. Best in the city. Thanks.

Best groomers in the city. I have been taking my puppy there every month since she was 12 weeks old. She always comes home looking perfect and smelling fantastic. The owner took so much time to make my skittish puppy comfortable with the grooming process that she now is so calm and relaxed when being brushed at home. Amazing place. I would recommend any day!

Absolute best groomer!We have taken our pup to different places and this is hands down the best.Morgan is our favourite! She takes the time to build trust with parents and takes care of our pup.His groom is perfect. Squeaky clean and handsome.I would recommend to anyone!

Highly Recommend Morgan for Cat Grooming!!!!This was my first time getting my cat (13yr old short haired tabby) groomed. Since he has gotten older he has started to mat and I wanted him to be more comfortable but was scared to get him groomed because I know matting can be painful and I wanted it to be done properly. I didn’t know many places that did cat grooming, so my mom had posted on her Facebook and many people had recommended CoCoMutts as a great place for cat grooming. I dropped my cat off at their home location and Morgan had told me that it would take roughly 45mins - 1 hour for him to be done. As I drove home I stopped to get cat food and I literally had just pulled into the driveway (it had been like 25mins since I dropped him off) and Morgan had already texted me telling me she was done and that he could be picked up. When she had told me he was going to be shaved due to the matting, I kind of expected a hairless cat with a pompom tail like I had requested. But omg was I shocked and overjoyed. He looks like an adorable lion and I couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out. She did an amazing job and I can tell he’s a lot more comfortable now while still looking purdy.Thank you again Morgan!

Our two morkies see Zoey and she does a fantastic job. We have had Chloe as well and she is fantastic too. They take their time and don't just buzz cut them. Highly recommend.

After my previous groomer retired we went through a few pretty bad haircuts before finding Alex. Henry looks better than he ever has after seeing Alex and thank goodness we went last week as my house is less hairy thanks to Alex taking her time getting out all of Henry’s excess hair. I like the in-home one-on-one approach of Polished Pooch as my dog is very anxious and doesn’t cope well in a regular grooming shop environment.

Morgan was excellent. We have a 2 year old Cocker Spaniel who doesn't like being groomed, so much so we've had to muzzle hey to do it ourselves. Morgan, with all her experience, completed the job without having to muzzle her and did a great grooming job as well. Already have the next appointment booked.

Alex is by far the best groomer I've ever taken my dogs to! One of the policies is for clients to be on a regular grooming schedule- this alone shows how much she cares for her clients and how ethical she is! Alex is fantastic with my small breed rescue who has severe fear issues, and with my big, somewhat grumbly rottweiler.* if you can't get in with a groomer, generally it's because they have a big, loyal client base, not because they don't want to see you!

I am sorry if you can’t get can appointment at the Polished Pooch... they’re very busy... because they’re the best in Ottawa.We’ve got a reactive Australian Shepard who we’ve always really struggled to groom. Prior to Polished Pooch we tried various other groomers and the experiences were incredibly stressful, not only our pup, but for us. It often meant trying to book appointments before opening, sneaking through back doors etc to avoid him being around loads of other dogs. We’d come out of those locations with a poorly groomed dog who’d pooped on the table, had to be muzzled etc. With Alex, grooming is 1on1 and as low stress as we could have imagined. Even when our dog is being his quirky self he comes out looking fantastic, and with no complaints from Alex. She works incredibly hard and cares about the dogs... it shows.
