We have been renting from Jayne's Cottages since 2016 and have been consistently impressed with the quality of cottages and professionalism of the staff. Emails are answered promptly, care is taken to recognize issues and address concerns, client relationships are nurtured, and the website is easy to use with great descriptions and photos.Our experience in 2022 at BlueBird Cottage was fantastic. After two years of not seeing our family due to Covid, we gathered from across the world at a cottage that was a perfect fit for our range of ages and interests. The home is beautifully furnished with a spectacular kitchen (we all want two dishwashers now) and the Muskoka room with the adjustable screen was the perfect location for leisurely coffees and cocktails. The waterfront was divine with almost no boat traffic to interrupt the peace.

Thank you very much for making our cottage renting experience amazing!We were at the Blue Heron Estate over the Labor Day week and my family and I had a great time.The property was beautiful and we can tell how much the owner has put into the space to make it a lovely home….truly an impressive property. On top of that, the property was clean and spotless, and the mid-week cleaning staff was amazing as well, it truly added an extra touch to the entire experience.Jayne’s team were also amazing throughout the process. I had a ton of questions before and during the stay as this is a new experience for me and my family – we usually stay at hotels. But the concierge and my cottage manager were so friendly and patient with me!Would highly recommend this service if you are looking for a high end cottage rental experience.

I rented an island cottage last summer for 2 weeks and paid over $35000 and the description said it was lake front with boat docks swimming and a boat house. This turned out to be totally misleading advertising. Although the cottage was newly built and modern and comfortable the waterfront did not match the advertised description. The property was on the back side of the island on a river facing public docks with nonstop noisy commercial construction equipment and pleasure craft launching. Also the so called water front for swimming was a swamp at a depth of no more 10” inches of water with weeds and ground cover fabric laid in the water. There was no way you could swim in it. Additionally prior to booking it I had mentioned that I had a direct drive wake boarding boat that needs at least 2.5 ft draft as the prop could and it could not be be trimmed. They said that it was dredged for it to go into the boat house which turned out to also false. There was no dock to tie up the boat as well.It looked like the Owner shoveled a whole into the silt just outside of the entrance to the boat house to create a whole so that his boats prop would not hit the silt. I ended up damaging my boats running gear underneath trying to dock my boat.Also the hot tub was left standing on a pile of rotted logs sitting uneven filled with green swamp water. The service panel for the hot tub was also left open creating an electrical shock hazard during the two weeks we were there. Multiple times I complained and asked Jane to respond nothing happened.For the record I was a previous cottage owner on the two lakes in the Muskokas for over 20+ years and know when I m being mislead.Do not trust this organization as they are not in control of their growth.

We had a great trip! The cottage was beautiful, clean, comfortable and bright. The outside was gorgeous! The team was welcoming with flowers and a basket of goodies ! When we needed a heater, batteries, sand/salt or water, someone came and delivered right away! Amazing service! Will definitely rent from Jaynes cottages again for peace of mind and great cottages!

The cottage was perfectly set up and extremely well stocked with everything from kitchen supplies to board games - everything was in working order and we had a great time. The booking itself, through concierge service was all seamless and Kim was very responsive. Overall, it was a great experience, both the rental concierge company (Jaynes) and the cottage itself. We would definitely use the Jaynes cottages service again.

From the outset, Jayne's operated professionally and really provided a gold standard level of service. The initial cottage we tried to book was not available over the dates that we wanted and Jayne's worked with us to find a cottage that met all our needs. Throughout the process we were well informed and kept up to date. Upon arrival, our cottage manager Marci was friendly and very helpful. She coordinated an early check in that allowed us more time in the lake! And when we found the DVD player not working, she had a new one delivered the same day. She even remembered that my son was a right handed shot and sent over a right handed hockey stick with the DVD player that we could use on the courts! In short, the whole process of booking with Jayne's was seamless.The cottage itself was perfect. Suited our extended family well. The location was beautiful (exactly what we wanted in a Georgian Bay setting). The cottage was comfortable and well equipped. It really had a family feel to it and we appreciate all the family touches the owners had around the place. It was evident that many happy family getaways had occurred here over the years!

We were in a dire situation, as our cottage booked months in advance with another rental company was cancelled the day before arrival. When we called Jayne's and explained our plight, they were able to find us a cottage while at the same time consoling us and offering hope. As a large family, options were limited but they performed their magic and a cottage became available two days later for a full week. It was an outstanding property and rescued what would have otherwise become a miserable week. The team at Jayne's made us feel cared for and a top priority for them. Such exceptional service is rare. The cottage was impeccably top-notch. We will absolutely book with Jayne's Cottages again!
