PG SPCA is awesome!! We lost our Cat unfortunately didn’t check here first because people had posted online they saw him in our neighborhood. I should have checked here first because I saw his picture go up and I left a messsge they called me back as soon as they got in and I was able to go pick him up!!! THANK YOU!!!!

Never support the SPCA. HORRIBLE organization! They discriminate against low income pet owners. I will never support this organization. My friends dog Memphis was stolen by the SPCA and sold without her consent. Donate somewhere else.

I am disappointed with the outcome of my last application. I applied for a sweet puppy who would have been a good fit for our family. The puppy had been in this BCSPCA branche's care for a little over a month. I live 8 hours away and requested they hold" the puppy for us for 3 nights so that we could drive down on Saturday since my husband works Monday-Friday and we have an infant. I was told the manager did not approve of this hold

It's become a complete mess to view the animals to see if they might be a good fit into your life or not. No responses to the application to adopt" just for the chance to get an "appointment" to "view" the animals.It's gotten to be too much hassle to even bother looking here for a rescue animal sadly."

The staff here are extremely friendly and passionate about their jobs. You can tell they genuinely care about the animals they spend their day working with.If given the choice of shopping or adopting, please look to adopt first! So many adorable, family-friendly pets come through these shelters.The SPCA is also a great place to volunteer if you have a passion for animals!I would call before attempting to visit due to COVID restrictions and altered protocols.The SPCA also sells shirts, hoodies, and other assorted clothing and gear that make for great Christmas presents!
