I love the Arsenal galleries. Toronto's is smaller than Montreal's, usually with one main exhibit and one smaller gallery. But it seems to allow them to be selective and choose some really spectacular installation exhibits, and create a singular, unique atmosphere in the space.Highly recommend a visit, especially if you're visiting MoCA a couple blocks away!Check to make sure they're open (i.e. not between installations) when planning. That goes for most galleries though.

David Liss who was previously at the MOCA does curatorial projects here. He always has a unique view of contemporary artists and selects fascinating artists who are accomplished but not completely mainstream. The shows are often museum quality at Arsenal/Division - in both substance & presentation.

Splendid art, a mix of contemporary and older selection of paintings and sculptures.I particularly enjoyed Martin Bordeau's work, as he very inspirational.The gallery occasionally hold prelude to auctions, which is great.The entrance may look a little shady just like some other art galleries near Division, but you can't miss its huge blocky structure as you walk by Ernst Avenue.

Such rude customer service. The woman working the front desk had such a sour attitude it totally ruined the experience. The exhibition itself was wonderful, I tried to grab a brochure at the end and woman was so rude, and passive aggressive.
