Great calibre of training, Bill is excellent at providing useful feedback to improve your technique. Friendly vibe, inclusive, diverse and the facility is kept very clean. My abilities have improved already in the short time I've been attending class. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to try martial arts but may be a little nervous.

Great gym! Bill is a great instructor and coach with the skills to back it up. I highly recommend anyone interested in MMA, self defense or just getting into great shape to come check out The Academy! The new gym is amazing!!!

This is a truly positive learning environment. I have never regretted walking in the front door, and never regretted limping back out again!11/10!!! I couldn’t recommend it enough to someone who wants to try it but is maybe feeling a little nervous :)

What a great Gym ! This is the place you want to train in the comox valley. Bill Fraser is the real deal with lots of experience to share, fantastic attitude and a great team behind him.I highly recommend this gym.
