Had the service back in November 22 and haven't touched a cigarette since. I'm happy with the service, the people, and how I feel 3 months later. Would highly recommend this to anyone struggling. It's worth it.

I’m am so grateful for Sheila and her team at Laser Centers for Health in Nanaimo!!!I am just over 1 month smoke/nicotine free for the first time in 24 years!!! Previously, I had tried all other avenues for quitting smoking with no success. I did, at one time, switch to vaping for 1.5 years where I was able to get myself down to a very low level of nicotine but started smoking again following the death of my brother in 2016. During the time that I was vaping, I would occasionally still smoke when out having a drink etc. so was never really “free” from nicotine or smoking. The laser treatment has been the first successful treatment option for me and I just know I’m going to continue to be “cancer stick” free for years to come!From the initial phone call with Chelsea, to inquire about the service they offer, to the follow up with Sheila who went over the best treatment plan for my specific needs, to the actual laser treatment service and counselling with Nadine, I felt comfortable, supported and most of all like I was important! That my success during and after the treatment was important!!I also suffer from extreme anxiety, chronic back pain, and a very addictive personality. Since having the initial smoking cessation treatment (with anxiety and stress relief points added on) and my 2 week follow up booster, my stress levels and anxiety have noticeably decreased, resulting in me being less tense, which has now lessened my chronic back pain from the result of that!! The addict side of my personality had also recently been craving other substances due to high stress in my life and the recent passing of my beloved cat. I am now, thankfully, not having cravings in that department either!! The laser really does work wonders and I fully believe, with the right mind frame, anyone would benefit from treatments, especially anyone looking to quit smoking and/or other addictive substances. Even my friends have noticed a difference in me since the treatment as I am more relaxed and finally starting to laugh again. The best part of the whole thing that still is mind blowing to me, is that there is no physical cravings whatsoever after stopping smoking!!! I had for 2 maybe 3 days only cravings mentally so I just avoided doing the things that triggered me like talking on the phone and driving. After those first few days it was like I had never smoked before…. Mind blown!!!! I can’t say it would be like that for everyone else but that’s how it went for me, and I now, 1 month later, have no cravings and don’t even think about smoking!!!Sheila and her team make the whole process so comfortable to the point that it is almost like you are a good friend of theirs that’s coming in for a treatment. Chelsea was informative and also fun to talk with when I first was inquiring about treatments. Nadine was vulnerable and open with me about some personal life stuff that allowed me to relax and share more freely with her my stressors and life situations etc., they really are empathetic and supportive of you on your journey and you can feel that they really want you to succeed! Sheila was transparent through the whole process and so incredibly dedicated to her work. She went above and beyond trying to speak with my work benefits people, on numerous occasions, to see if we could get them to cover the treatments since it is a form of acupuncture which is included in my coverage.This is a powerhouse team of strong women that are smart, considerate, funny, knowledgeable and supportive. The LASER TREATMENTS DO WORK!!! and they work well!!! This has the best results, is pain free, and with my personal experience, was extremely easy to be successful. I love my results so much that I am going to be doing the boosters monthly to keep my anxiety and stress levels down. My next appointment is tomorrow and I can’t wait!!I cannot recommend Laser Centers for Health enough… 5 stars to both Sheila and her team and to the business itself. Thank you so much!!!

Sheila was amazing and has helped me go from heavy smoker to a no-smoker with her treatment regime. Very pleased with the results and how I experienced no physical cravings at all.

Eight years ago, in 2012, I went to Vancouver Island Laser Centers for Health for a one-hour treatment and have never had a cigarette since that day.I had tried every way to quit possible for decades. Nicorette gum, nicotine patches, cold turkey, and acupuncture…nothing worked. One of the reasons is that products for smoking cessation like nicotine gum and patches, the products subsidized by government, continue to feed you nicotine. This maintains nicotine in your blood and the addiction. The nicotine in the gum and patches continues the addiction cycle. I found as soon as you stop chewing the gum or take off the patch you will still have the urge to smoke. You will still be introducing the toxins into your blood.In laser therapy the endorphin cascades generated outlasted the nicotine withdrawal period, and along with a switch in behaviors away from smokers and toward exercise, made it possible to stop smoking. Drinking lots of water helps flush out the old toxins. At long last I could breath and my health risks are now being reduced.I still cannot believe that public health care does not subsidize this process for public health benefit instead of funding pharmaceuticals that continue the addiction and contradict the very objective of smoking cessation of breaking the nicotine chains.

10 years ago, I had treatment from Laser Centers for Health in Nanaimo to help me stop smoking. Their treatment was 100% effective and I have not smoked since. The results were immediate and lasting. In addition to giving me my life back free of nicotine, the treatment was one of the most relaxing experiences I have ever had.I constantly recommend their service to anyone looking to seek help with an addiction problem.

Did the laser treatment for smoking cigarettes May 10/2019 I have now been quit for over a year. The treatment did wonders I always recommend Laser Centers for Health Nanaimo to people that have asked how I have quit. It's easy painless, and the follow through afterwards is easy to follow.

This is Betty Smith.I had tried to quit smoking many times, going cold turkey, by cuttiing down, and Zyban, but nothing worked.Then I had the quit smoking treatment at Laser Centers for Health on May 5, 2005. That’s over 15 years ago and I haven’t smoked since.I would recommend it to anyone & still do. They saved my life.

I'm not sure how, but this review is under my husbands account. My name is Charlotte and I cannot say enough GREAT things about Laser Centers for Health! Every chance I get to help others get healthy, I take! Hence my review now! 13 1/2 years ago I used Laser therapy to stop smoking and have never looked back. Of course, there were days in the beginning that were more difficult than others, but overall 'Laser Centers for Health' made this daunting decision, extremely smooth. They were there to offer tips and endless support through the entire process. I stand by what I always have said if I knew that it would have been this easy to quit

I first took the program in 2006 and it worked beautifully, I was cigarette free for just over 6 years and then in 2012 I had some serious personal problems arise that started me smoking again. I am going to take the program again as I am sure I can kick nicotine for good. pleasant knowledgable staff and I would recommend this program to anyone who has been trying to quit or wants to quit.
