Beware, beware, beware! These guys are the worst snow removal company you’ll find. If you hire them it’s like watching your money get buried in snow. If they even bother showing up at all, prepare for excuse after excuse and a driveway that would make any snowmobile trail look clean. They won’t show up when they deem the snow not deep enough for them to waste their time with - but - then have the brass to ask for extra money when the snow is too deep for their liking. I kid you not. Beware!

Unprofessional, Not Responsible for Damages to Property, Caused floodingHired to aerate property, young man and woman showed up, to access backyard they had to move lawnmower and extension of downspout to eavestrough. Spoke to them both asking if any problem getting machine in backyard while I was on back deck, said no problem. Went back inside as I had painters at my home. Came outside later saw they had left, that night heavy heavy rain, water came into house, insurance sent over people to investigate, saw lawnmower and extension on neighbours property, downspout had four cracks in it. Due to heavy rain and water pouring down side of house and not away water came inside. Phoned Doug to let him know, said he was away would follow up, called me said he spoke to staff and they would have put back my extension, lawnmower and his staff would not lie because if they caused a problem they would be fired. Explained gave no reason to call or lie and he needs to come to house and investigate himself, Doug said they told me they did not aerate your backyard, not speaking to you further and hung up in my ear. I have never dealt with such a unprofessional man as Doug and been in customer service for over 40yrs.I ask this of Doug, why when I hired your staff to aerate yard and they told you they did not, why was that not questioned. Do you think maybe because they knew they damaged my property and left??2nd question, if its your companies reputation on the line would you call up a customer who you knew was upset enough to call you and insinuate they are liars over the cost of a $15.00 extension to a downspout. I thought I was doing the right thing bringing it to your attention. Just shows you anyone can start a business, doesn’t make them a professional

Very disappointing unreliable serviceWe have been a customer for a year doing both grass and snow removal. This year we had hardscaping and landscaping done, so we requested to have lawn cutting held off while this was being done, but would need them to cut around the areas that had not had sod replaced, which they agreed. Asked them to come by to do a clean up, apparently unknown to me they claim they drove by and felt the yard was in too much disarray to cut as the landscaping team was still working. The areas I was needing cut wasn’t, and they never even checked in with me to advise.I informed Doug they would be done the following Tuesday, Doug said they would be here Thursday, when Gary and his Dad showed up they said they were only here to inspect the job, not to cut??? Said they would try to be back Friday, if not Monday to complete. Well nothing happened and I reached out to Doug he said truck broke down (very common response) and they would be here Tuesday.Monday night I received a phone call from Doug advising me to remove the flags around the irrigation system where they were going to cut, and that Gary told him that he was concerned that the sprinkler heads were above ground and he may damage them. I assured Doug this was not true the sprinkler heads are all below the grass. So he said they would be here Tuesday GREAT! So Tuesday I get an email advising us that because it rained last night they couldn’t come because we requesting our grass clippings be bagged, there was no where to put them, which we have 2 acres they could put them, I advised Gary and his Dad when they were here it inspect, as they did it last year, but now they would have to put them in a different place.Doug then advised us that because there was no where to take the clippings, and making special trip just to do ours he was dropping us as a customer. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Had two weeks to advise, and because it was not straight forward for a few weeks while the new sod takes hold and it was more than just sitting on a riding lawn mower they are dropping us as a customer. Very Unprofessional!Now on to snow removal……Had issues with snow removal, no shovelling just plowings at times, was not very good, We had snow banks halfway up our yard by our front entrance. Doug did credit us for the service not done, but they were unreliable, trucks seem to be always broke down or other issues. Doug did keep us informed about the issues, but doesn’t help when you hire a company to do a job, and you don’t know if they are going to show up.All this time, not once did Doug offer to come out to our home to inspect for himself!
