Burrito was yum and had a lovely chat with the guy who works there! Plus they have menus in English

The restaurant is small but the service is very nice and the atmosphere is friendly. The portions of the dishes for the price are small, not very similar to the original recipes of Latin American dishes or at least to what I have encountered before.

Great small family operated snack place. They have very good tacos and burritos. 5 minutes from the west train station. Prices are bearable considering that their ingredients are as fresh as they can get. Food is made with your choice of fillings. Works like Subway.

This place has the most impolite staff I have ever met in my entire life! This morning, I tried to store my luggage at Salpicon, as this is a service they offer via the LuggageHero app. I chose this location particularly because of the opening time of the venue from 11:00am in the morning, as I had a very important appointment not too far away at 11:30am. When I arrived there, Salpicon was closed, despite the opening hours in writing displayed at the door indicated that the restaurant should have opened already at 10:40am. I waited until 11:10 and then had to leave due to my appointment. In the end I had to carry my complete luggage of 35kg all the way to my official appointment. Needless to say that this was a very unpleasant and embarrassing experience. After my appointment, I finally managed to go back to Salpicon. Indeed it turned out that they had forgotten about my luggage storage and had opened the restaurant at 11:30am only. Considering that they made a mistake and did not open the shop on time, I asked them whether they would be willing to store my hand luggage for free as a little compensation and courtesy (on top of the suitcase that I had paid for).To be honest, I don't know what happened afterwards but the elderly man at the shop got very angry about me asking for this little kindness considering all the difficulties I had been through this morning due to their forgetfulness and opening their restaurant late. He started shouting and insulting me really badly, making me feel as if I had been the one making a mistake! In the end, he gave me the phone and had me speak to his wife. She tried to justify, asking for payment for both luggage items etc. etc. I did not want to argue with her, so I told her I will look for another place to store my luggage. She then asked me for how many hours I had planned to store my suitcase. As my reservation was for the full day, she suddenly changed her mind and started to become a bit friendlier and accommodating. But at this point I really did not want to discuss with her or her husband any longer or leave my luggage there anymore due to safety reasons, considering their inappropriate and impolite behavior. In the end I decided to walk to the nearby train station to use the lockers there. I don't know if they had a bad day or what happened, but their impoliteness and shouting at me despite them making a mistake was really the worst experience I ever had in a restaurant or any other service institution. I don't know about their food but their personal behavior and how they treated this situation was just very, very bad.

Salpicon is the best Mexican restaurant. To be completely honest all I had was a shot with my friends BUT they could confirm the food was delicious. I want to write that Salpicon had the sweetest staff. It gives me the mom and pops vibe with a truly personal experience. They really make me feel at home here. Alex and Marina are truly amazing! (The pictures show that we could not resist to eat before taking photos of the truly delicious food)!

Very cute family run shop. Hosted with lots of enthusiasm and attention to clients. The food was authentic and tasty, but best of all chrap and quick! Basically just like going to your grandma's.
