Sam is energetic and comfortable directing and capturing moments on film. My husband and I had Sam photograph us to celebrate our engagement and we were thrilled with Sam's final product. Saman was the first photographer who made me feel comfortable in front of the camera. I was camera shy before we worked together to develop content for my small yoga business, but he gently encouraged me to overcome my fear of being photographed. He is quite possibly the most punctual person I've ever met, meticulous, thoughtful, interested and curious about the world around him. He has a structured way of asking questions about my goals for the photo/video shoots and goes the extra mile to understand the aesthetic I was looking for. A pleasure to work with.

My partner and I are pretty private people and are not use to being in front of a camera, so getting engagement photos and being the center of attention for an entire shoot was daunting. Sam relaxed us both. He made it fun and provided great instructions that made our role very easy. I also though it was great that he was willing to bring along a new photographer to help train her and give her experience. We truly felt his genuine care, respect and love for other people throughout the process. We are extremely happy with the outcome of the photos and would recommend him to anyone looking to get engagement photos (or other photos) done.

We hired Sam in the summer to do family photos and it was such a great experience. He is so incredible with children and had our very shy 4 year olds laughing and posing within a matter of minutes. They still talk about him all the time! I wouldn't hesitate to hire Sam, he's absolutely the best!

Sam made an INCREDIBLE video of our wedding and we were absolutely thrilled with how it turned out. He had some very creative ideas which made the video unique but also took our ideas and hopes into consideration. It was the perfect balance and he is a true professional.
