You know when you find yourself with a craving for Island Farms' Salted Caramel ice cream, and nothing else will scratch the itch?I went to two Save-On stores and left empty handed and broken hearted, but Thrifty Foods was ready, willing and eager to please with a stack of fresh tubs just sitting there in the ice cream freezer like bars of 24kt gold in Fort Knox.Thanks, Thrifty Foods. You came in clutch and rescued a W in what seemed like a guaranteed loss.

the prices aren't terrible but the store doesn't seem very well lit and my cashier was unfriendly, didnt even say hi. i had some questions about a couple different products in the meat department but there was nobody around to help. i think i'll go somewhere else next time.

My husband bought a delux chocolate cake today for our dessert, to have with friends tonight. It looked great but was incredibly stale, dry when we served it tonight, embarrassing, its expensive and should not be out on display. Disappointed in Thrifty foods
