Sturgeon Community Hospital

This is the best emergency hospital ever. The nurses and the emergency doctors and the rest of the team, all of you are the most amazing people. From the bottom of my heart thank you for taking care of me today and all patients out there. You are the best and I appreciate your service. Your smiles and care for every body that goes there makes it easier for what we are going thru. Words are not enough to thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

I normally absolutely despise hospitals. Staying in them makes me really unhappy. I ended up with a bunch of lung issues and have been here for a week and a half and the level of care I've received has been amazing. I even celebrated my birthday today and my wonderful doctor brought me an ice cream cake. Thank you to the staff on unit 17 and my wonderful doctor, doctor king for taking such amazing care of me and making me feel special on my birthday.

Arrived at 1pm and was seen at 9:40pm.We need our money to be put in places that helps us all. Medicine is one of them. We pay enough taxes.Our healthcare just like other first responders need more funding not less.****The hospital staff was great and I am grateful to have them****.Our healthcare needs help and we need to make sure we demand for more funding and not let the government make it so bad that they can start making private clinics and hospitals everywhere just so we have spend more money for something we already pay.

I gave birth here in December through a scheduled csection. My doctor (Dr. Lacasse) was incredibly professional, efficient and kind. Her and the doctor helping her out that day were making casual conversation during surgery which really helped ease my mind in a very stressful procedure. The anesthesiologist was awesome, and didn't hesitate to give me more medication the second I started feeling anxious. The post partum nursing staff were also top notch! Especially nurse Laura who is a truly compassionate soul that I was so grateful for during my first hours as a new mom. Highly recommend delivering here if you can!

Yesterday was an extremely busy day in emergency but your caring staff looked after me in pain control and sitting comfortably with my injury . I was eventually treated by Dr.Lee and Cassandra an R.N , and other staff on the ward like i was family . I appreciate everybody caring so much after suffering elder abuse previously at another hospital . Saying thankyou is not enough but all i can do . Thankyou !!!

The nurses and doctors were all truly amazing! So caring and helpful, I feel so lucky to have delivered my baby here. Thank you to all the staff for making our labour and delivery so special and great!

I had to write this review after the absolute best care and treatment we received early this morning. My 2.5 year old daughter and I arrived at the hospital at 6:10 am and from the first nurse we saw in admitting, to the nurses and doctor in the back we were treated with such kindness. My daughter was in excruciating pain from her ear and she was taken care of so well and very quickly. I had a personal conversation with everyone I came in contact with and truly felt that my concerns and my daughter mattered. The doctor in emergency, Dr. Roisin Alexandra Dempsay, was amazing and the main nurse that kept checking on us was so lovely- she walked out stating that she was going home to take care of her own sick baby. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you do!!!

The family of John L’Hirondelle would like to thank the staff in emergency and hospice. It’s nice to know there are such amazing people looking out for the ill. They made our fathers last days the best that he could have had. Thank you again
