Nepean Kanata Lock & Door Service Inc (NKLock & Security)

I call the service to ask for opening my bedroom. Technicians came quickly. They open my door in 5 mins then charge me 350$ for this 5MINS service. It's too pricey. If you need this service, be careful.Not recommended

Very decent company, great service tech.I chose NKL over other companies because they were having a promotion. They were slower to reply than a couple of other places, but that may be because it was not urgent and I enquired for quotes by email rather than phone. They didn't show up for the initial inspection to give me a quote (-1 star), but sent someone out the next morning and were very apologetic, extending the promotion by one day so that I would still receive it.Service tech Marty was very efficient and helpful - I needed to install all new locks and handles after painting the doors - he showed me some tips to make life easier.Thanks for your help, Marty, I got it installed and working!

Fast, courteous, and professional. Managed to cut me a key that two other locksmiths could not. Reasonably priced.

It was my fault for not first asking the price but I don't feel that I received good value at NKLock. I was charged the full rekey price for an already disassembled lock (required only swapping 1-5 pins) - and the same price to rekey a door handle lock ($25 each). Work was done fast (minimal wait) and was good quality.

Got help from a gentleman named David with selection of Hoft posts. He was very pleasant and offered very useful tips. Definitely worth the trip as we do not have Rona nearby.

Went in to have a key cut for my scooter. Didn't have the proper blank but gave me one to try, told me to come back and pay for it if it works. I surprised him and came back later. Thanks

I've tried other hardware stores, DIY stores and locksmiths to copy a patio door key with no luck. NKL & S was the only company that successfully cut duplicates.
