service is slow, portions are small, complete disappointment after waiting 1 hr 20 minutes when we live 10 minutes away. delivery guy is extremely lazy and we will never order or visit again. wish there was an option for no stars. should have chosen osmows and will next time

The food here is delicious! I had the chicken shawarma wrap spicy, it didn’t take long to prepare. Once I took a bite, the flavours bursted from all directions. I was intrigued by the taste, quality, and combination of flavours. The chicken was delicious and cooked well in curry style, the dressings were tasty and the veggies were adequate. Will def be back for more

A hidden gem really in Guelph! I frequent other franchised kabob places in the GTA like Naan Kabob or Bamiyan. Helmand Kabab in Guelph is no behind at all in quality. We love the food here, always made fresh. Generous portion size, prices are reasonable.

Helmand Kabab House
I went here looking for authentic Afghani food and I found it. I ordered a falafel plate with rice and salad and it came out tasting great. I ordered some milk tea aswell it was very autentic to how it is made in Afghanistan. Great food and the owner is even better. Outstanding gentleman with excellent customer service.

Went with friends for a sunday lunchThe food here is very good , ordered chapli kebab , mazari kebab. Meat was juicy and flavorful. Parboiled basmati rice was great as well . The winner however was freshly baked afghani naan , love it ! Reasonable priced as well .I highly recommed this place .

Food would have been good had it not been served cold. We waited 45mins even though we were told it will take 20mins and that too I had to go and ask if the food was ready.Paid a hefty amount to be served hot food at the very least.
