Greta is a pretty awesome bar. It has a great design with the big bar in the centre of the room, surrounded by games. There's a cool food truck built into the wall where the kitchen is to make the food. There is minimal seating so booking ahead is vital. The star drinks were: Van City Reynolds made with Ryan Reynolds gin and the Flying Crane with sake in it! We also enjoyed the food with the highlights being the bao buns and street nuggets.

Staff/bartenders were all nice, but some of the games will just eat your points and give you nothing. We tapped our cards and the lights would turn green and then nothing would happen. Then you tap again and the game works while taking double the points. Told the staff and they refunded us $3.00. Id avoid the games and just enjoy the good music.

Visited on Saturday night, forgot that most places in gastown become a club. Honestly though it was fun. It got really warm, there was a lot of young people so it was packed AF.Cover on a Saturday night was $11 and they accept card payments too! From the $11 you get a $10 game card. Drink were so cheap. I’d come back here.Bathrooms were gross but… it becomes a club so you know.I will say I had a great experience with all the staff they were all so nice. The bartender that made our drinks had the best recommendations.

Went here for my birthday and had a great time. The selection of games are pretty good overall. Made a reservation in advance to make sure we could all have a table and that worked well. It gets busy and more of a club vibe later in the evening. The music was fun and loud, encouraging everyone to dance but we couldn't see any designated space. I think that's the only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5. With a retro video game dance floor somewhere we probably would have stayed till close. Oh and the other thing I didn't like was that I couldn't play guitar hero when the music was so loud in the evening. I wish that the arcade cabinet was set up in a quieter space so that it was easier to hear.

It’s a fun place to hangout even on a weekday. The servant was very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious too( fish taco, nuggets, poutine) My tip is watch others play before you because some games are just confusing

Had the pleasure of hosting a group event recently at Greta on a Sunday evening, and it was tons of fun. From beginning of the booking process until the night of the event, we were well taken care of by the thoughtful staff. The food, drinks, and games were a big hit. Thank you!

We had a great night here for a friends birthday, really enjoyed all of the games and they were well priced.At the end of the night there was a bit of a mix up at coat check and they couldn’t find my jacket, but the manager was great and uber delivered it my door the next day. Stuff happens, I don’t fault them at all for mixing up a generic black jacket. I’m very appreciative how great management was to get it back to me at my convenience.

Found this amazing Arcade bar in Gas town last week. Went there with couple of friends. It was a cool experience. They have varieties of arcade games, DJ, fast food style counter and bar. This is really good setup. We had a great time and would recommend this place.

Fun but group consensus was that food and service weren't great. walking tacos ( see video) Looks like dorito bag of chips with some ground beef and sour cream. service took a while. Server made it up in the end later. She needed more help. Hard to get a game in bc it was so busy. After work was cool but by the time we left it was clubbing vibes almost

Good fun! The food was good and fast. Lots of games to play. It is a bit pricey to load the card but lasts a while if you get more credits. Our server was great!
