I hired Ryan Henriques to help with a law suite because a neighbour dug up the lakefront and installed a seawall with no permits or care for the environment Mr. Lane broke the Law. This action washed away my lakefront so I called the Alberta Government who did nothing so I sued them from not doing their job. What should have been an easy win because Mr. Lane had no government permits or studies done Ryan screwed me over even with 2 chances to get my law suite correct in court. I lost in court and now I have to pay the Government $18,000.00 for court costs. I said to Ryan how am I going to pay, he answered back DON"T PAY THEM". This took 7 years and I lost my home and my savings and RRSP"s and I became an alcoholic as I watched Ryan help the Government and his made up lies to me. I'm 59 years old unemployed and rent a 1 bedroom apartment because of his lies to me. Warning to all. Do not hire this guy or this firm."

This was my second time working with Baerach Anderson at Prowse Chowne, first purchasing my house and this time selling my house. I was selling my Edmonton house from a distance in BC and Baerach helped ensure the process went smoothly, conducting the signing of papers over a zoom chat and making sure everything was done on time even though it was a short timeline.Allison Labelle was very helpful in making sure I got the correct information sent in when it was needed, and helped ensure a smooth transaction.I can recommend Prowse Chowne as a great option for any house purchasing needs and I'm sure they're great for all legal needs.

James Song was my lawyer for a home purchase. The work got done, but I'd use another lawyer in the future. It was a pretty average transaction overall, and costs were almost double his original estimate. He was friendly in person but not very responsive by email, his assistant was just plain unprofessional, and the communication between him and his assistant seemed inefficient. We never received a final bill until 2 months after the transaction, when we were contacted to say we were late in paying... so we had to request a copy of the invoice we never received, and it took a month after that plus 4 emails to get details of the charges. (I'm happy to pay a bill, I just want to know why the charges increased.) I'm sure he's a fine lawyer but overall seemed too busy to care about customer service. At least the work got done.

Had a slow start in the beginning to great service all the way to the end…From Melanie and Myles, students at law, with Melissa as my attorney with great insight and even better advice! Even Phil Prowse having a hand in the final outcome!A great experience with this law firm and I would recommend them to ANYONE needing good advice! They really do their homework and they get to know you as a person!!!!Anything else? Call them!Thanks to everyone……

HAVING PROWSE CHOWNE AND MR HENRIQUES IN MY CORNER I WAS VERY CONFIDENT THAT I WOULD PREVAIL AGAINST A FALSE CLAIM AGAINST MY ASSETS, HAVING TOP CLASS REPRESENSATIVE TELLS THE OTHER SIDE THAT YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BE WALKED OVER AND THEY WILL BE IN FOR A FIGHT AND IN THE END IT PROVED TO BE.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Baerach Anderson and Allison LaBelle this summer as a summer student at Prowse Chowne. They're the dream team! Incredibly well coordinated, experienced, and knowledgeable in their field. Besides being incredible at what they do, they are also tremendous people.
