Freeman's Little New York
I love freeman’s but this one is absolutely horrible. Certain staff members would simply not allow you to get in if you don’t have 2 “photo IDs” even though according to the provincial laws having 1 photo ID and 1 other ID (like credit card) is more than enough as proof of age. Most immigrants are not eligible for a health-card and therefore cannot get inside.I will get my health card next week but I would rather starve than going here again.The funny thing is I have been to this place 10 times probably and no one ever cared until tonight and this time I wasn’t even drinking.I have been to over 60 bars, clubs and events in 5 provinces in Canada and this was the first time I was asked to leave anywhere. (I’m 22 by the way). But here showing 2 credit cards, provincial photo id, Dal card and pictures of 2 passports don’t seem to be enough because their bartender seems to have his own laws.They just lost a few customers tonight

Servers were extremely rude and disrespectful and demanded I have 2 ids as an immigrant. Imposed incorrect regulations which were not according to the laws in Halifax and were covertly racist. Probably a good place to have a rally but terrible service.

Went for a late lunch. First thing I noticed was there aren’t a lot of drinks that they have. Don’t go for the menu you find in google reviews, I think it keeps changing. Also the menu doesn’t have prices mentioned. We ordered some Stella on the tap, it was good. My friends ordered some cocktails, the taste was good but didn’t feel like there was much alcohol in it, was more like mocktails. Food was good, would definitely recommend it for food. The staff could have been friendlier.Overall it was an okay experience, not too bad not too good.

Late night snack. It's just okay maybe because of the college crowd ,that we gat our food late,t the wings were cold.Jalapeños poppers are okay.

Visiting from BC, arrived at our hotel at midnight, learned Freeman's delivered to our hotel, so we ordered a donair pizza. Delivery was surprisingly quick, pizza was delicious - especially with the donair sauce dip! Thanks Freeman's!

My mother and I went here for supper before heading to see the Tattoo. I've been to Freeman's before but my mom hadn't. We were both very impressed with the food and the service. Matt is a fantastic server! :)

Surprisingly empty for what great experience I had there. It was a refreshingly decent prices meal compared to everything else in the area.Chicken pesto pizza and garlic fingers were 10/10 tattoo and perfectly cooked.Servers were very accommodating and friendly. She let us know about a BOGO half off deal after we ordered. She could have easily made us pay more for less for. $11 pitchers.

Don’t forget to take your id and vaccination proof. One of my friend forget to take id still they allow us to eat but didn’t allow us to order any drinks.We all are vegetarian so we have ordered1. Moza sticks2.Onion Rings3. Extra cheesy garlic fingers4. Manhattan pizza replaced mushroom with banana peppers5.Flatiron Quesadillas

Ordered veg pizza, grill veggies with mock-tail. Food was good. They have free pool table and a Jukebox (you need credits to play songs).
