Like most everyone is saying, it was very busy the day we visited. BUT the lines moved pretty fast to buy tickets and get your equipment rentals. Every staff member we encountered was pleasant and helpful. Definitely a good hill for beginners.A relative and I wanted our teen boys to be able to ski together for a bit, but we needed to work. We took a table in the lodge, set up our laptops, ordered drinks, lunch, etc. Had a great waitress! It was a pleasant day overall. Our boys had a blast skiing. Great place for a day out in the winter for locals - not necessarily something I'd travel for or consider a skiing destination though.

1/10 rating. Will not be back. Mt Holly is 12 miles away. There is no good reason to come here for anything but a concert.75% of the workers are on drugs. Operating ski lifts while clearly tweaking out. The waitresses in the lodge are rude. One of them came up and snatched my drink because I hadn’t shown my ID yet (I’m 26 and am not obligated to randomly show you my ID if you haven’t asked for it)Somebody tell these girls to keep their hands to themselves.

My son skied all Winter with his ski club. He got a free lift pass. Went is it and would not honor it. Enough they jacked prices for the club this year. But too not honor a free pass is ridiculous. I hope club with switch to My. Holly. At least the people working at ticket window are a lot more friendly and appreciative of us coming up ski at their resort.

We had an amazing time at Pine Knob. Your experience will depend strongly on the weather, but the day we went, they had blown a ton of new snow on the hill and the lifts were running fast. I was able to get about 20 runs in each day I went. They have two (at least) terrain parks - an easy one, and an expert one, a green bunny hill (that is terribly packed), some black and blue hills (keep in mind that the blue hills here are basically greens everywhere else), and several lifts to get you to the top, both ride on and tow ropes.

This is the best smaller ski hill in southern Michigan. This beats every other one by far. I have had season passes at other hills and I regret it. Pine knob looks after the season pass holders and the walk in ticket buyers. They look after me and you, they don't put other programs or such first. They keep the snow in amazing condition and open the second that they can and stay open as late as possible. They groom very often and take pride in what they do.

This Ski resort is well maintained and they have slopes from beginner to expert level.Beginner slopes start from the right and they have magic carpet which is more like an escalater. It's safe for beginners and don't hurt your hands like ropes. Then on next slopes they have ropes and chair lifts. The wait time on chair lifts was very reasonable, sometimes couple minutes to 5 minutes max and it was Saturday and very crowded. While prices are not cheap, they're reasonable compared to other places in the area. Ski rentals were $35 per person, chair lift ticket was $55 (for holidays), you can check online. Beginner tickets are cheaper and weekend/ holiday tickets are more expensive. They also have full day or 3pm till closing. 3pm ones are little bit cheaper.Although it was very crowded, rentals didn't take me more than 20 mins or so. Most people were wearing masks, not all though. They have lockers for 50 cents. Also, there's a cafeteria with enough seating, but food was very expensive and didn't taste that good.Overall it's a nice place to visit with friends and family in winters, well maintained and reasonably priced.

I recently visited Pine Knob Ski Resort with my girlfriend, and unfortunately, it will forever be tainted with the memory of our breakup. However, I will try my best to give an objective review based on my experience. The resort itself is beautiful and well-maintained, with plenty of ski runs for all levels. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we had a great time skiing together. However, the lodge was quite crowded and noisy, which made it difficult to find a quiet spot to have a conversation. Unfortunately, this is where my girlfriend decided to end our relationship, and it was not a pleasant experience. Despite this, I would still recommend Pine Knob Ski Resort to anyone looking for a fun day out on the slopes. Just try to avoid any emotional conversations in the lodge!

Pine knob is always super packed. Lots of people usually on the bunny hill. They usually have a sweet terrain park open every year. Lots of cool features set up. The Fire pit and beers are always a vibe that’s if you drink. One of the local hills for me definitely would recommend to check it out this winter!

Saw Alice Cooper here at DTE Energy Music Theater last month.. absolutely one the best rock concerts I've ever seen! Add on to the fact that I've never seen Alice before that night..
