The number associated with the location on esquimalt road was actually the number for the location on Douglas st. By the time I went to the wrong location and cabbed to the new location I was 40 minutes late for my appointment and it was 20 minutes til close. The teller girl was about to process my very straight forward return until some thing(the person in charge) came over and said it’s too close to close. When in fact she probably just wanted to get off right at 6. The teller said 20 minutes is enough time and then the thing said the computers are down too. So I left and cabbed back home. With that said, update your address and phone number and learn some customer service skills. Will not return to H&R Block.

Filed my taxes here for the first time. Was expecting to have to pay taxes this year after a preliminary assessment and my own assessment having previously done my own taxes in the past. I passed my documents over to Bo Chu and a week later when I came back to pay my expected taxes, her and her team had worked hard to get me the best return possible and far exceeded my expectations. Great attitude and knowledgeable . Will be returning for services in the future.

I have filed my taxes with HR Block for the last 10 years give or take. Always had good/great experience. This last visit was very different. Had my taxes done by sherry at the bay center location in victoria bc. They were done fast and efficient. But when it came to signing my documents. Sherry had me standing at the reception desk at the entry and proceeds to discuss my taxes, and sign the documentation, where everyone walking by can listen in. Made me very uncomfortable. Not to mention having me wait while she answers a half dozen phone calls. (There was another employee present with no in person clients) I will not be using this location in the future. I would go somewhere they respect financial privacy.

This was my first time using H&R Block for taxes. I dropped off all my paperwork (without making an appointment), and was able to come in next-day and complete the process (signature, payment). Sherry was patient and very knowledgeable, and made the process so easy. A wonderful experience!

This H&R is only open during tax season. The rest of the year they do not have a location in The Bay Centre. You'll have to go up to the one at 2001B Douglas St.
