John and his team are great at what they do. They provide clear, concise, itemized quotes and do exactly what they say they are going to do, such as; being on time, on budget, clean and professional. As a custom home builder and general contractor I have worked with many different landscaping contractors and Vanskyline are my go to for all of my landscaping needs. They are especially good at hard scapes such as paving stones and retaining walls.

I used this company in Oct 2014 for my backyard patio and asphalt driveway. Looked pretty when done. But after the first winter my driveway had heaving effect and swelled up so much that I could not open my basement entrance door neither my garage door. The originally slope was also not correct. Northland paving owner himself came to inspect my driveway just after my first call. He promised to fix all. He next time sent a new more experienced team out and dug up the whole driveway again and redid the entire work with better slope with no cost to me. I doubt if any other company will do this so easily without repeated complaints and call. Can't remember the crew lead name. He was amazing and was there entire time to ensure this next time work was done correctly and he always kept giving me assurance on it as he realized how worried I was. I will highly recommend this company for the experience I had.The driveway till today looks great. They may be a bit pricey but worth it to have the warranty and professional service. My neighbor had his driveway done much much cheaper than mine but next year his driveway had pothols and collects water when it rains. The company had one time service. You get what you pay.I now moved and need to do my backyard paving and drive again for my new property. Hoping to get save service, quality and have same good experience.I wish I remember the name of the crew leader if he is still with them.

I am still in awe with the work that was done here. Alex responded immediately to my request for a quote and made excellent suggestions to fix up some additional issues in the yard. They were real needs, not just extra work for them and I'm so glad they were done.It was not a huge job for them as it was putting in some rocks in a segment of the yard, adding some sod and filling in a segment under the patio. But they took on the job and it was huge for me! The job was done quickly and well and I'm so appreciative of their work!

I hired Ryan to complete the front landscaping of my new townhome. He translated the idea I had in my head into reality this month. He helped me with the design, picking the materials and when finished, it looked better than I imagined. He was meticulous and the finished product is beautiful. From quote to review to contract handling to the actual work, it was a really clear and transparent process.They provided us with all the resources to make the right decisions and create a driveway and patio that best suited our needs. Their work was quick and efficient and left the surrounding area undamaged and clean once done.Any and all work I have that falls in this realm, I will be seeking these guys to do it! Fantastic service

Joe and the crew have finished up the work on repairing our cedar/bamboo fence. In a word, it looks FANTASTIC!But more importantly, I wanted to share with you how delighted we were with the experience.The guys came in, got to work and did everything that they needed to do without grumbling or suggesting that something was out of scope or the client responsibility. They respected our property and our neighbours property, and were careful about causing as little damage as possible to existing landscaping and lawns. I was picky about how things were being done and the outcomes, and Joe respected my input and never made me feel that my presence was unwelcome. And the guys as a whole were good spirited, conscientious, nice to be around, and had a terrific work ethic.

This company is first class in every respect. They are experienced, knowledgeable, and produce a high quality product at competitive prices. Their onsite staff are a pleasure to work with and their service level is very high.
