Selam Restaurant & Lounge
first time trying Ethiopian food and it was amazingggg! definitely a new go-to for takeout. food was packaged well and it was ready by the time i got to the restaurant. super generous portions! i got the vegetarian combo platter for one but i got two very hearty meals out of this. each of the dishes was uniquely delicious and the injera was interesting in the best way—amazing texture and soaked up the flavours so well! love love love!

Fresh sashimi with a fresh ambiance. If you’re a sushi/raw fish fan, then is a great place to go. The Tonkotsu Ramen was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend.

I get lunch here sometimes on break. The food is always fresh and delicious. Sometimes they run out of certain veggies on display, but the employees have always been happy to prepare a fresh batch upon request. Shoutout to their manager San for excellent service every time.

If you’re looking to change things up or simply tired of the same old thing every day, you have to try noodle box. It is my absolute favorite, and I eat there almost every day. All the other restaurants don’t seem to be able to compare in flavour texture, etc

Tried the pad Thai, it wasn’t bad but I would prefer food court Thai Express. They add coconut milk so there is a different after taste flavour. I tried the hot spice level which was not even a bit spicy, so that was also a disappointment. The menu items look good but this was a disappointment.

Captain Shawarma Donairs & Falafel
Captain shawarma is my favourite shawarma shop in edmonton. They have excellent service, clean place, delicious food, very good portions and filling sizes. The shawarma is special and the rest of the food is more than wonderful. I go to the restaurant almost every day. The workers are clean, smiling, and love the service. They have delicious sweets also.

First visit there.Pleasant staff, well decorated. There is an a la carte menu, table d'hôte and an 18 plates tasters menu for groups of 4+. Had the table d'hôte d'or 23$ that came with soup, choice of salad or vegetable rolls, soup, main course and dessert. Took their chicken with peanut sauce. Really enjoyed it. Very flavorful. The dessert was green beans in coconut milk. It was not bad but I didn't really care for it.They also have a very nice terasse. Worth going to for Indonesian food.
