Loved the experience. So much to explore here. It's well managed and the artifacts are presented Very well. History seems well preserved with great literature to showcase all the relevance. My favorite section was where they have showcased the dinosaurs, everything on display is so well kept, the information beside every item is great and has that awe factor when you look at the displays.

Too bad it's closed during winter and spring.

So much bigger than I thought from the outside. We explored for a few hours amd still didn't look at everything. There are multiple exhibits you have to pay extra for. The first floor of the museum is free and had a gorgeous collection for Chinese history during our visit.

We absolutely adore this park and its irresistible charm. It's a stroke of luck that we're within a convenient three-hour distance from Algonquin, allowing us to indulge in camping and hiking adventures every weekend. Our children are head over heels for this place, and they wish they could make it their permanent home.

Please check the time before you come. They explain quite nicely how to enjoy algonquin without a car parking permit, as we were unaware to book the same.

It is a great place to introduce children to animals of the park, through use of animal costume, hands on activities, descriptions and other offerings.

We went during the Thursday free time (5pm-8pm) and had a great experience. It was busy with lots of families but not too much. The exhibits are really cool and there are multiple floors to explore. We spent 3 hours but we could easily have spent 5 or 6 hours exploring.

Great place to relax; lots of places to sit and picnic with the family; seating also available for lake side view. There is a small town within the complex with shops, restaurants, and motels. Great escape for short and long term visits.
